Picture this: You are feeling out of sorts. Your child has the sniffles. Your spouse has a cough. You flip a switch and turn the kettle on, then look to your collection of herbs. A teaspoon here, a pinch there, within fifteen minutes everyone has their own customized herbal remedy delivered in a soothing cup of tea.

April Carroll, a Vintage Remedies veteran and long-time tea aficionado, is ready to make that idyllic scene a reality for you.

In the Teas and Infusions course, April walks you through the history of tea and covers the science of medicinal and health benefits of herbal teas. Whether you simply want to master the perfect cup of afternoon tea or expand your medicine chest to cover a wide range of conditions, this course has you covered.

Meet April:

Your Instructor, April Carroll, has been interested in natural health since her teens.  She began her formal studies with Vintage Remedies in 2013, taking a variety of courses and is planning to transfer to the Franklin Institute of Wellness in 2018 to complete her studies in both herbalism and aromatherapy.

She received her Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy from the University of Wisconsin. A veteran homeschool mom of two married sons and happily married wife to her husband of 29 years, she enjoys reading, cooking, mentoring homeschool moms, playing her flute in church, and, of course, drinking tea.
